OUR CORE VALUES

Listen to God; do what He says.

-Obedience against the odds

-Dangerous God calls us to dangerous things; illogical, radical, painful

-The will of God is not complicated.  He speaks to us plainly through His Word, His church, His people, and His Holy Spirit.

-James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (ESV)

Be real; attract real.

-If you’re looking for the perfect church, you still haven't found it.

-We will never ask something of you that we wouldn't do ourselves. If we want you to be honest, vulnerable and accountable, we will hold ourselves to that standard first.

-Willingness to admit our faults will often soften the heart of someone to do the same.  Brokenness leads to breakthrough!

-Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!” (ESV)

Faith it 'til you make it.

-Faith is fighting even when the feelings don’t follow (brush your teeth).

-Commitment is a necessary part of following Jesus, no turning back.

-Don’t give up when the going gets tough. It’s time to dig deeper.

-Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (ESV)

Receive freely; give freely.

-We’re talking about more than money - time, talents, resources, etc.

-God’s grace should not be held hostage. We are conduits.

-We should actively give generously because we are rich.

-Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” (ESV)

Memorialize; don't demorilize.

-We celebrate all the time, the small wins and the big wins.

-God teaches us to make memories in order to teach the next generation about His faithfulness.

-Joshua 4:6–7 “That this may be a sign among you. When your children ask in time to come, ‘What do those stones mean to you?’ Then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever.” (ESV)
